Privacy policy
We collect as little as possible: what you choose to send us, and, only if you accept analytics cookies, anonymous statistics about how the site is used. We never sell your data.
01Who we are
This website is run by Studio Web Designs, a web design and development studio working with businesses worldwide. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@studiowebdesigns.com.
02What we collect and why
We only collect personal data for a clear reason:
- When you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- When you use the project planner on Start a project, you give your name, email and, if you like, your company and current website, plus your answers about the project. When you choose Send, the planner opens your own email app or WhatsApp with your brief written out, and we only receive it if you send it from there. We use it to understand your project and reply.
- When you use the free website check, the address you enter is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights service, which loads that page and measures it. We do not store the address or the results.
- Google Analytics shows us how the site is used. Before you choose, and if you reject analytics, it works without cookies: Google receives only basic, cookie-free signals, such as the page viewed, the time and your browser type, with no identifier that recognises you, and we see them only as anonymous totals. If you accept analytics cookies, it also sets cookies that tell visits apart, so we can see pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Legal basis: your consent for cookies, which you can withdraw at any time, and our legitimate interest in basic, anonymous statistics.
- When your browser loads the site, the service that hosts it receives your IP address and browser details, because that is how the internet delivers a page. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
We do not use your data for automated decisions, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell or rent personal data.
03Services we use
A few trusted providers process data on our behalf or as independent providers:
- Google: Google Analytics (cookie-free until you accept, with cookies only after you accept) and PageSpeed Insights (the free check).
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us on WhatsApp, its own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
- Hosting and email: the companies that host this website and handle our email process the technical data and messages needed to deliver them.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
04How long we keep it
- Enquiries and briefs: for as long as we need to answer and follow up, and no longer than 3 months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Client records: for the length of our work together and afterwards for as long as accounting and legal obligations require.
- Analytics data: kept in Google Analytics for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
- Technical logs: the records our hosting keeps to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (which can include your IP address) are deleted automatically, normally within a few days.
- Emails: when we delete an email, our email service removes it permanently from its servers within about 30 days.
05Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- limit how we use it, or object to a use;
- give it to you in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, for example by changing your .
Write to hello@studiowebdesigns.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority: in Morocco, the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel); in the European Union, the authority of your country.
06Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We limit who can access enquiries and client data, and we use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we collect to a minimum.
07Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
08Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date below. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
